M2 Systems Introduces the JWX-10 and MDX-40 By Roland
M2
Systems is now selling the Roland JWX-10 and the Roland MDX-40 milling machines.
Combined with the protowizard software and jewelry fixtures, we have an unbeatable
combination for making beautiful wax and plastic jewelry master models.
At a list price of $9,995, the JWX- 10 is the jewelry-specific mill custom retailers have been dreaming about. Powered by a high-speed 20,000 rpm spindle, the 4-axis desktop machine quickly produces detailed wax models. It is the fastest and easiest way to create rings, bracelets and charms.
The
Roland MDX-40 is a desktop Subtractive Rapid Prototyping (SRP) system that
offers product designers a major value. At a list price of $10,995, the MDX-40
is less than half the cost of most additive systems while producing prototypes
out of a wider variety of non-proprietary materials with greater precision
and better surface finish.
ProtoWizard's User friendly Interface employs a simple 8-9 step procedure that guides the user and the application all of the way from importing the STL file to creating the NC file. ProtoWizard is the only CAM system integrated with a 3 sided ring application Wizard. Run ProtoWizard one single time to create all of the roughing and finishing NC files for all 3 sides of the ring.
